At Compass Fostering, our job is simple. It’s to provide the best possible support for every carer we work with, from first-time foster families to experienced carers in search of new challenges.
Compass Fostering also have the ability to support our young people with specifically designed programmes for their needs. These range from standard support, enhanced therapeutic foster care, Stepping Through, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Parent and Child provisions.
The REACH approach perfectly demonstrates how highly we regard positive psychology and resilience building. We make sure we fully implement the Social Value Act, by designing and providing services that meet local need and by promoting young people’s integration into their local communities and networks. One of our values is to minimise disruption in children’s lives, and provide greater placement stability for them, including in education.
Our dedicated, trained and highly professional family finding team look to secure the best foster family match for each child, for as long as the placements are needed. As with all our services, safeguarding is always at the heart of everything we do. In order for us to achieve high safeguarding standards, communication is critical when a concern arises.
Safeguarding is central to our service and we are ready to hear concerns and value your feedback. Communicating quickly together is critical when there is a safeguarding concern and reflection of our practice together strengthens our learning points.
