About Haylen Lodge

Haylen Lodge is one of Compass’ newest Therapeutic Residential Family Assessment Centres and comes equipped with seven family size bedrooms and three semi-independent self-contained flats. The word Haylen means Hall of Light and our intention is to provide families with some hope and a positive experience, underpinned by Compass’s therapeutic values. Parents will be provided with holistic therapeutic support, while being shown respect, being listened to, and being taught valuable life skills to help give families the tools they need to succeed.

About the Manager

Ruth has been a qualified social worker for over 22 years. She has always worked in Local Authority, first as a social worker and then progressed to Team Manager. As a social worker Ruth progressed to Advanced Practitioner and has experience of complex care proceedings, safeguarding, completing parenting assessments and connected carer assessments. Ruth has substantive experience of working with children who have various needs such as, Sexual Harmful Behaviours, Child Sexual Exploitation, Child Criminal Exploitation, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties, Self-harm and prolific absconding behaviours.
